Because we're trekking at the very end of the main tourist season, the Hotel Everest View is almost completely deserted. The only other people staying at the hotel are an elderly Japanese couple. The man obliges us by taking a picture of Chris and me sitting on a patio level outside our hotel room, without Mount Everest in the background. (Which one is it, again?)
