Stupas at the Erdene Zu monastery, way the heck in the middle of nowhere.

Erdene Zu is an old temple compound that thrived for centuries until the Communist purges of the 1930s. A few small temple buildings remain, but the most impressive part of the complex today is surrounding wall, puncuated with 108 tall stupas (towers).
