CD Tapestry:
For most modern nomads, interior decoration is a low priority. They don't have the space for big pictures, frames and artwork. And after all, if you're going to be moving in less than a year, what's the point anyway?
I decided to try a make a functional wall hanging. Many of the people I interviewed have taken to storing their CDs in large CD notebooks (although strangely, many of them also still lug around a big box of original CD cases - too much guilt in throwing them out I suppose). Many CDs are also visually very striking. Wouldn't it be cool to turn something you've already got into an interesting "artwork."
The CD Tapestry turns the nomad's music collection into a decorative wall hanging. The CDs are held in place by small foam posts. Simply fold the tapestry up to protect the CDs when moving.
