Inspiration:
The Nova Lamp was inspired by a small toy of my brother's that I played with as a kid. It's a reconfigurable "snake" made up of 24 rotatable sections. This snake is currently sold as the "Rubik's Snake." You can configure a rod, a ball, and everything in-between.
