The inside of our ger.

Gers are pretty roomy inside, and are tall enough that we can stand comfortably in the central area. (Ger doorways are pretty low, though: everyone in the group bashes their head at least once or twice going through a doorway.) The skylight lets it quite a bit of light, and can be closed when it rains. The ger's felt covering provides great insulation: gers are cool in the hot daytime and stay warm at night.
