August 2002

In August we took a ten day trip to London for our first honest-to-goodness family vacation. While we were there, we hooked up with Jan's sister Skye (who was studying there for a semester) and Jan's mother Lyn (who was visiting Skye).

Anya was good but incredibly squirmy for the 10 hour flight. (At least it was nonstop.)

Anya's a pretty light child, but that didn't make it much less exhausting for Jan to carry her up the zillion narrow steps to the top of St. Paul's.
